Crown Royal Pristine Gasification Series consists of three models that use the newest technology called gasification. Our gasifiers are designed to achieve the highest efficiency ratings possible with extremely low emissions. The Pristine Gasification Series are designed to burn seasoned wood and can be installed in areas with the strictest emission laws. They are EPA Phase 2, white tag qualified and can be found listed in the EPA website for qualified hydronic heating systems.

  5. SECONDARY COMBUSTION CHAMBER: Exhaust gases from the firebox are injected with air to achieve temperatures up to 2,100°F and 99% fuel combustion
  6. HEAT EXCHANGER TUBES & HEAT EXCHANGER CLEANERS: Strategically placed in the water reservoir to transfer heat to the water, assisting in achieving high efficiency and low emissions. Each tube is equipped with a turbulator which removes any build up of fly ash.

HOW GASIFICATION WORKS

Gasification has been around for decades and is now the most efficient way to heat your home.

The combination of high temperatures, wood and very little air create exhaust gases inside the main firebox. These exhaust gases get forced underneath the wood fire into the secondary combustion chamber and burn at temperatures up to 2,300°F and 99% fuel combustion.

This heat is then transferred to the heat exchanger tubes which are strategically placed in the water reservoir to transfer heat to the water, assisting in achieving high efficiency and low emissions. The unburned gases exit the stainless steel flue exhaust at temperatures as low as 200°F. You will notice that our Pristine Gasification Series is VIRTUALLY SMOKELESS. This is because our Gasification Process is proven to work. The less smoke you see the better the gasification.
